Celina Parás, MSc, RDN, LD
Nutrition Education Specialist, CHEF
Celina Parás is the Nutrition Education Specialist of the CHEF program; she earned a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Texas Pan-American and a master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Texas Educator.
She has worked as a nutrition educator for teens at the Rio Grande Valley, and has collaborated in health promotion projects in international organizations including London Food Bank and East London Food Access. Her special interest is in culinary medicine, child nutrition, and chronic disease prevention by encouraging healthful eating habits early in life. A native of Mexico, Celina is excited to be part of the CHEF program and work in the community of San Antonio.
