Rooted in the belief that food is medicine, CHEF is a Culinary Health Education Program that teaches children and families basic nutrition and practical cooking skills, with the long-term goal of motivating individuals and communities to adopt and sustain healthier eating habits. CHEF is sponsored by Goldsbury Foundation and The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

Class times:

  • Classes run for 5 weeks
  • Wednesdays at 6pm – Kids & Family Classes
    *Ages 5-12 must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • Thursdays at 6pm – Adult Classes, ages 16+

Cost:

$50 per individual participant
*Cost includes all necessary kitchen equipment, food, and utensils during the class
