DARK CHOCOLATE ALMOND BUTTER

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Place the almonds on a baking sheet in an even layer and toast for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the almonds cool for 10 minutes.
  4. As the almonds cool, melt the chocolate over a double broiler. Set aside.
  5. In a high-powered blender or food processor, process with sea salt until smooth.
  6. Once almonds are creamy, add melted chocolate and process until well combined.
  7. Place in an airtight container (mason jar will work great) and store in a cool dark place.
