Rebecca Vance is Kentucky born and raised, but decided to lay roots in San Antonio, Texas. The city’s rich culture, beautiful landscapes, and warm winters were just too enjoyable to pass up. While in Kentucky, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Western Kentucky University and immediately went to work in the sales field. As her interests for diet and exercise grew, she landed at Baptist Health Milestone in Louisville, Kentucky as a Membership Coordinator. This is where Rebecca started making the mind/body/nutrition connection and became hungry for more information in the nutrition field. She headed west in pursuit of more education, and began working at Seton Home as a Development Coordinator, specializing in Community and Resource Relations. Three years later, Rebecca is able to combine her business experience, passion for helping others, and excitement for nutrition as CHEF’s Program Coordinator. Rebecca feels that explaining basic nutrition and teaching fundamental cooking skills set the foundation to building a healthier and happier community.
