Suzanne Mead Feldmann

Chief Executive Officer, CHEF

Suzanne Mead Feldmann, Chief Executive Officer of CHEF, is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in philanthropy, marketing, and public relations.  Ms. Feldmann began her career at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital Foundation, where she helped the organization raise more than $35 million during her tenure.   More recently, she served as CEO of Goldsbury Foundation, a private family foundation focused on catalytic philanthropy in the San Antonio area.  In this role, Ms. Feldmann directed and managed the stewardship of significant philanthropic funds directed toward innovative programs and services addressing a wide range of needs including:  education, research, child abuse prevention, health and wellness, and substance abuse prevention.   After 16 years in this role, Ms. Feldmann worked with the trustees of Goldsbury Foundation to re-vision its philanthropic focus leading to the creation of CHEF, Culinary Health Education for Families.  Currently an executive on loan to CHEF, Ms. Feldmann is responsible for all aspects of CHEF operations, program development, and strategy implementation.  A native of San Antonio, Ms. Feldmann graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and serves as a board member and advisor to several community organizations, most recently chairing the highly successful $86 million capital campaign for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
