Youth and Family Culinary Porgrams Coordinator
San Antonio Botanical Garden
Born and raised in San Antonio, Jorie Weinheimer is the Youth and Family Culinary Programs Coordinator at the San Antonio Botanical Garden, where she coordinates and leads CHEF programming at the Garden. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Texas A&M in 2017. While in college, she worked in customer service at H-E-B Grocery, was involved in the Nutrition and Dietetics Association, and was University Relations Chair and Event Planner for a service organization on campus.
After graduating, Jorie moved back to San Antonio and eventually started volunteering for CHEF at Pearl Farmers Market. She immediately fell in love with the mission of CHEF and its contribution to the health of the community. She is excited to be a team member of both CHEF and the San Antonio Botanical Garden, and getting to teach kids in the community about cooking skills and healthy eating.
