  • 1 cumcumber, peeled, seeded, julienned
  • 1 large carrot, peeled, julienned
  • 1/2 red onion, peeled, julienned
  • 5 cups white cabbage, shredded
  • 1 bunch cilantro leaves, washed and picked
  • 1 serrano chile, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tablespoon lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Gently toss the cucumber, carrot, onion, cabbage, cilantro, and serrano together in a large mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. When ready to serve, season the slaw with the citrus juices, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
